Well today's the day!! Kyle will be getting his karate "black belt" (recommended) today at 5:30. We made a deal with Kyle when he started that he couldn't quit until he reached black belt (hoping, of course, that when he reached black belt he wouldn't want to quit). Will post a picture of the ceremony tomorrow. In the meantime, this is a pic of his last promotion to red belt (decided).

Well I can't believe that Kyle is testing for his Recommended Black Belt. I am so proud of him. He has truley overcome a lot of obsticles from being very shy when he first started, to moving to a new state and new karate school. Having to do things differently then he was used to. Thru all these obsticles he seemed to have never lost sight of his goal. I hope that when he finally ties that black belt on he will remember all the hard work and victories that he has accomplished to get where he is today. You will always be a winner in everything that you do because you learned to persevere and never quit. I also hope that with your new black belt you will have learned that this is just the beginning and not the end of your TKD career. Whatever you choose we all wish you the best of luck and we just want to say how very proud all of us (Ms. Pino, Ms. Bantum, Mr. Pino, Miss Pino) are of your accomplishments. You made us very happy. Good Luck on earning your Black Belt and send us pictures.
We will be going to Little Rock this Monday and Miss Pino will be competing for World Champion in weapons. I will be competing for the first time in 3 years. I'll let you know how it goes. Take care guys and we miss you.
