Mother Teresa's Anyway Poem

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God;
It was never between you and them anyway.

July 5th

So my favorite dinner is Japanese food where they cook in front of you. This was birthday night.


Warren wasn't thrilled with the strangers at our table. I think he was hoping for better conversation than "Hi, I mowed my lawn today, I haven't done it in three weeks". He decided to just pay attention to me.. my sweetie.

Captain B

We were back on the Chisholm's beautiful boat where we went out on the water to see the fireworks. What fun we had! These pics below are from where Steve's friend rafted to the big boat to join us for the fireworks show. They were all trying to figure out how to work it with the tide so it didn't hit the Captain B's boat and I was the helpful one with the flash camera :)
